Work Order Details

See everything related to a work order in one place — including progress, payments, events, attachments, and history.

Once a work order is created, you can open its detail view to access all key information in one place. This view helps your team stay informed, track the status, collaborate, and manage each part of the workflow efficiently.

What’s Included in the Work Order Details

From the Work Orders list, click any row to open its detail page. This view includes:

  • Work Order Info Creation date, documented and delivery dates, and a description of the case.

  • Patient & Dental Lab Information about the linked patient and the selected dental lab.

  • Status & Activity Log The current status of the work order and a full timeline of changes made by team members.

  • Scheduled Events Appointments such as Try-Ins or Deliveries, visible both here and in the main Calendar.

  • Payments All financial details, including payment method, paid amount, balance, and any installment plan.

  • Attachments Uploaded files like dental lab forms, scans, or reference documents.

  • Comments Internal notes for collaboration or documentation.


Metadata Overview

At the top of the page, you'll see a summary of metadata:

  • Creation Date
  • Documented At
  • Delivery Date
  • Description
  • Dental Lab and Patient Info

Activity Log

On the right-hand side of the page, you'll find a chronological log of all updates, such as:

  • Status changes (e.g. In Progress → Completed)
  • Due date modifications
  • Comments and other actions taken by users

Payments & Events

Work Orders are directly linked to Dentasync’s finance and scheduling systems:

  • Events All related appointments are shown with time, type, and reminder time (if configured).

  • Payments You’ll see a full breakdown of the financial data: method, amount paid, remaining balance, and payment history.

Attachments

You can attach any documents that are relevant to the case, such as:

  • Dental lab forms
  • Treatment plans
  • Scans or images

This ensures all reference material is kept together.


Comments

At the bottom of the page, you can leave internal comments to assist with collaboration across roles (e.g., technician notes, admin updates, clarifications).
